Access Board Working
Group on Accessible Drug Labels to Hold First Meeting
A stakeholder working
group organized by the Access Board to develop best practices for making drug
labels accessible will hold its first meeting January 10 and 11 in Washington,
D.C. The working group, which includes
representatives from advocacy organizations and industry, will explore
alternatives for making
information on prescription drug container labels accessible to people who are
blind or visually impaired or who are elderly. The meeting, which will be held
at the Board’s Conference Center, will be open to the public.
